Handover: Design input
Collect the buyer’s can-body diameter and height, end specification, beverage name, product temperature, carbonation or still condition, target fill volume, requested cans per minute or cases per hour with the test conditions that sit behind those figures, quantity, destination and requested delivery window. State whether the seamer travels with the filler, is reused, or is a second machine. If production beverage cannot ship for a trial, write that limit into the RFQ instead of substituting water without comment. Work envelope, three-phase supply, compressed air demand, cooling water, CO2 or vacuum points and PLC interface names already on site belong in the same brief.
Supplier answer
Each factory should return which can-body and end combinations the supplied seaming tooling covers, which seam gauges and inspection training sit inside the price, and how fill loss and oxygen pickup will be checked on the actual beverage. Ask them to restate fill control against product temperature and carbonation, not against a generic drink label. Installation, shipping, operator training, FAT attendance and SAT attendance must be tagged included or excluded. A brochure speed that omits beverage temperature is not an installed throughput promise. Public filler literature, including pages that list can formats and head counts separately, is used only as a question prompt; it is not affiliation and not a model offer from this site.
