Independent machinery sourcing · Evidence

can filling machine

Can Filling Machine Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. We collect a can-body drawing, end specification, beverage conditions, quantity and destination, then request factory quotes for a dedicated can filling machine. We do not manufacture fillers, keep warehouse stock, or present a factory as already inspected. Cans per minute and cases per hour stay unconfirmed until a supplier restates those figures against the actual can, beverage temperature and carbonation you name.

Replacement versus new installation

Existing process

If a filler already sits on the pad, record can infeed height, seamer centerline, depalletizer discharge, accumulated can rails and remaining aisle. A quoted frame that cannot reuse those connections will force extra conveyors and utilities that a head-count figure will not show.

Ask each bidder whether the offer is a drop-in filler-seamer pair or a new cell with its own conveyors, three-phase supply, compressed air and CO2 or vacuum utilities.

Included and separately quoted

A can filling machine inquiry is comparable only when each supplier marks the same machine boundary. Compare filling valves or heads, listed seaming tooling and infeed handling as one ledger, then keep site work, training and spare parts as another. Public brochure speeds are not an installed throughput promise for your beverage.

Base machine

  • Filler frame, listed filling valves or heads, and infeed handling that the supplier marks as inside the machine boundary.
  • Standard seaming tooling only for the can-body and end combinations named on the RFQ, if the quote marks those tools as included.

Application boundary for can filling machine inquiries

Base machine

  • Filling path sized to the named can-body diameter, height and end type, not to an unnamed family of formats.
  • Fill control described against product temperature, carbonation and target fill volume, not against a generic beverage label.

Questions that change a can filling machine quote

Can a replacement filler reuse the existing seamer and can rails?

Existing process

Measure the current infeed pitch, seamer timing window and accumulated can length. A new filler that needs a different can presentation will rewrite the conveyor plan even if the floor plate looks similar.

State whether the seamer travels with the filler, is reused, or is quoted as a separate machine with its own tooling and gauges.

Which can-body and end combinations are covered by supplied seaming tooling?

Ask the supplier to list each body diameter, height and end type covered by the tooling in the base price. A range statement is not an unlimited change-part package. Slim or sleek cans often need different handling and seaming parts. Keep inspection training and seam gauges on a separate line so the quote does not hide those items inside a headline speed. See seam inspection and change parts for the comparison questions.

Confirm site interfaces before you compare factory quotes

Electrical, utility and control inputs belong in the first enquiry. Missing them is the usual reason two can filling machine prices cannot be compared. Optional budget and supplier preference can travel with the same requirement text.
